Anti-Saint of Sacrifice was Shayla's concept from the start: a desert rail line at sunset, sheer white fabric, a pentagram chain and a very large, very calm snake.

Her vision, her performance, and our first shoot with a live snake in the frame. You'd never know it from these images. We chased the light from golden hour down into blue hour, from the tracks into an old tunnel as the sun went down.

Huge thanks to Shayla for bringing this one to me. Easily one of my favorite shoots this year.
